In a groundbreaking move set to transform the aviation industry’s talent
landscape, Aviation Generation has announced its bold expansion plans for 2025.
This visionary initiative aims to address the critical global shortage of skilled
aviation professionals while supporting the industry’s remarkable post-pandemic
growth and environmental sustainability efforts.
Pioneering a New Era in Aviation Education
Building on the phenomenal success of its trailblazing Heathrow Course,
developed in collaboration with Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College and
Heathrow Airport plus partners, Aviation Generation is now poised to launch its
innovative educational model across national and international stages. This
expansion comes at a pivotal moment, as the aviation sector experiences
unprecedented growth while actively working to minimise its environmental
impact.
Fuelling the Future of Flight
The Aviation Generation Course model represents a paradigm shift in aviation
education, offering a dynamic and sustainable approach to cultivating the next
generation of aviation professionals. By seamlessly integrating industry-led
training into the curriculum, this pioneering programme ensures students are
equipped with cutting-edge skills, mentored by industry veterans, and immersed
in professional-grade facilities and equipment.
Nichola Bates of Boeing Aerospace Xelerated shared her enthusiasm:
“Supporting this scale-up, based on the stellar success at Heathrow, fills me with
immense pride. Our industry desperately needs a sustainable influx of diverse,
skilled talent, and I’m convinced we’ve cracked the code. I urge all industry
stakeholders to rally behind this ‘collaboration before competition’ ethos.”

Redefining the Future of Aviation Training
Aviation Generation is a not-for-profit CIC founded by a consortium of
international aviation experts. Their mission: to attract, educate, and retain the
aviation workforce of tomorrow.
The successful debut of the inaugural Aviation Generation course at HRUC’s
Uxbridge College Campus and Heathrow Employment and Skills Academy in
September 2024, in partnership with Heathrow Airport and other industry
leaders, has laid a solid foundation for this ambitious expansion. HRUC serves as
